Commission Disclosure

Last updated: October 2026

Objective

This policy is prepared in line with SEBI and AMFI guidelines requiring Mutual Fund Distributors to disclose the commission they receive from Asset Management Companies (AMCs), so that investors have full transparency.

How Commission Works

When you invest in a Regular Plan mutual fund through Advents Wealth (ARN-74970), the AMC pays us a trail commission. This is a percentage of the invested amount, paid by the AMC out of the scheme’s Total Expense Ratio (TER) and already reflected in the NAV.

Important: this commission does not increase your investment cost. Direct Plans of the same scheme have a lower expense ratio because they exclude distributor commission, and can be purchased directly through AMC platforms.

Indicative Trail Commission

Scheme categoryIndicative trail (% p.a.)Notes
Equity: Large Cap0.50% to 0.80%Varies by AMC and AUM slab
Equity: Mid / Small Cap0.60% to 1.00%Higher TER schemes
Debt: Liquid / Overnight0.05% to 0.10%Lower TER
Debt: Short / Medium0.20% to 0.50%Varies by category
Hybrid: Balanced Advantage0.50% to 0.90%Dynamic allocation
Index Funds / ETFs0.05% to 0.20%Passively managed

Actual commissions vary by AMC slab, investor location (T30/B30), AUM levels and prevailing SEBI regulations.

Key Disclosures

  • Advents Wealth receives only trail commission. No upfront, incentive or one-time commission is received from any AMC.
  • Investors can see the actual commission paid in their Consolidated Account Statement (CAS) from CAMS/KFintech.
  • Commissions are paid by AMCs and included in the TER; they do not increase investor cost.
  • We do not accept gifts or non-cash benefits from AMCs that could create a conflict of interest.
  • Fund selection guidance is based on objective criteria and is never influenced by commission rates.
  • Investors may choose Direct Plans through AMC platforms.
